Life during forced emigration is often accompanied by uncertainty:
a new country, different rules, waiting for decisions, questions about the future, work, home and identity. And when there are no clear answers or stability, this can cause anxiety, tension, fatigue and a sense of losing one’s ground.
At this session, we will explore what resilience to uncertainty is and how it can be maintained in daily life and turned into a mental skill.
We will look at:
Why uncertainty has such a strong impact on our emotional state
How to support ourselves in conditions of ‘not knowing’ and instability
Practical ways to reduce anxiety
How to maintain inner stability, even when external circumstances are unstable
Format: psychological education
No need to share personal details
You can simply listen; camera use is optional.
The Empower HUB project is implemented by HUG and its partners. It is co-funded by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
