Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Help Ukraine Gothenburg (HUG) has successfully delivered more than 10 vehicles to Ukraine, where they are transformed into CASEVACs – fully equipped evacuation vehicles.

What makes a CASEVAC different?

CASEVACs are fully equipped evacuation vehicles designed to safely reach the wounded under fire, providing everything medics need to save lives on the spot.

Each vehicle undergoes comprehensive modification to meet frontline medical evacuation requirements.

Each rebuilt vehicle represents a lifeline for wounded defenders and civilians caught in combat.

Your support makes it happen

Every CASEVAC we send begins as a donated or purchased car in Sweden. With the help of our partners in Ukraine, it was rebuilt into a frontline-ready evacuation unit.

This mission is only possible thanks to the commitment of Swedish businesses, civic organizations, and volunteers who continue to stand with Ukraine. Why it matters

The war has left Ukraine’s healthcare system under relentless attack — hospitals damaged, ambulances destroyed, medics working under fire. In this reality, every working CASEVAC saves lives by enabling faster evacuation of the wounded, emergency stabilization in the field, and critical support in places where conventional ambulances cannot reach.
