5 Armored CASEVACs for Ukraine

Since 2022, HUG has delivered 134 rescue vehicles and completed 240+ transport. But the battlefield has changed. Standard life-saving vehicles became primary targets for FPV drones and artillery. To save lives today, we must upgrade our protection.

HUG has been building and delivering CASEVAC vehicles to the front — and we continue to do it. These vehicles have proven to be the most effective way to evacuate the wounded under fire. But with drones now dominating the battlefield, unprotected transport has become an easy target.

That's why we started reinforcing our CASEVACs with protective cage systems and light armor. We've already built one — and now we're raising funds for 5 more.

This initiative is part of a nationwide effort via the Samfora platform, aiming to raise 100 million SEK for Ukraine in 2026.

Every donated krona goes directly toward the purchase, armored reinforcement, and medical outfitting of these specialized units. These vehicles are rebuilt in Ukraine to meet the exact demands of the front:

  • Internal Ballistic Protection: The entire interior is lined with Kevlar (soft armor) to protect the crew and patients from shrapnel and fragmentation.
  • Anti-Drone Defense: External "cage" armor and shielding designed to neutralize kamikaze drone strikes.
  • Advanced Medical Interior: A dedicated rail system for rapid stretcher loading, custom tool organizers, and shelving for life-saving equipment.
  • Autonomous Power & Heat: Equipped with a diesel heater, inverter, and an additional high-capacity battery to power all medical devices independently of the engine.
  • Strategic Seating: Foldable seats for front medics to maximize space and efficiency during high-speed stabilization.

As the aggressor updates their tactics, we must update our defense.  Join the fundraising campaign today and help us protect those who save others.

Tax deduction is optional in the next step.
