We invite young people aged 16–29 to join a meeting as part of the EmpowerHub project.

Today, when you open a job search website, you can see numerous vacancies for chemical engineers in Gothenburg. Specialists are actively sought by companies such as Volvo, AFRY, Preem, and AstraZeneca.

Our speaker — Liubov Vasenko, Lead Engineer, Process Engineering at ValmetAB— will share not only her professional experience but also her personal journey into engineering. Liubov is a strong, modern Ukrainian professional who is confidently building her career in an international company and working on large-scale industrial projects.

We will talk about:
— who a chemical engineer is and what they do
— why this profession is one of the most in demand worldwide
— job opportunities in Sweden
— how to receive education in this sector free of charge
— where and when to begin your studies

After the meeting, there will be an opportunity to ask individual questions over coffee and snacks.
